ABOUT JENNI
Jenni Royster Boyd holds a BA in Art History from Washington and Lee University with additional coursework in figure drawing and oil painting.
She enjoys painting landscapes that incorporate elements of abstraction and expressionism. Her work is a reflection of time spent in the outdoors and draws from a deep appreciation of wide-open spaces. Jenni is particularly drawn to the Blue Ridge mountains and coastal areas of South Carolina.
She strives to find a balance between the use of unexpected color and texture in her work and an authentic rendering of the subject. Her goal is to produce work that inspires a sense of wonder and curiosity but also feels familiar. Jenni lives with her husband and three children in Richmond, Virginia.
